Security, simply explained

Your drop is public.
Your workspace is private.

A clear separation between the people sending files and the place where you manage them.

Private by design

A drop link opens an upload form. It does not expose your inbox or give the sender permission to browse your Google Drive.

Google authorisation

Sign in with Google, then authorise the Drive connection. GoFileDrops uses Google’s authorisation flow rather than asking for your Google password.

Access you can manage

Use closing dates and optional passwords for drops. For outbound shares, set an expiry or revoke the link.

What gets delivered?

Files and a separate record of the submitted form answers are saved to the folder selected by the owner. The sender’s receipt and the owner’s delivery status describe different stages of this process.
